What can I do for you?

Please note that I am not currently accepting any new therapy clients and I do not keep a waitlist.

My approach

If you’re reading this, you probably already feel motivated to engage in therapy and you’ve taken the hardest step already. I am a doctoral-level trained Clinical Psychologist who is here to help you along the rest of this journey. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to provide an integrative, person-centred approach, tailored to you. I like to help people live a life that is in line with their goals and values, whether that is an improvement in mental health or becoming unstuck from previous patterns that have kept you from living the life you want to live.

I have a particular interest in working with people experiencing emotional effects related to physical health difficulties, and I also offer support around broader mental health and emotional wellbeing challenges, including difficulties such as anxiety (including panic, generalised anxiety and OCD), depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief, trauma or relationship problems.

Do any of these describe you?

  • Struggling to cope with the demands or anxieties that come from a long-term illness

  • Experience of an acute illness that changed your sense of self and who you are

  • Struggling to adjust to deteriorating health.

  • Feeling misunderstood or misbelieved about your health condition/s, especially where some symptoms may not be visible to others

  • Low mood

  • Increasing anxiety

  • Difficulty coping

  • Relationship difficulties (whether family, friends, romantic or workplace)

  • Loss of confidence

  • Grief or bereavement

  • A sense that you’re not living the life you want to

  • A sense that you’re not acting like the person that you want to be

  • Knowing that something needs to change, but not being sure what it is or how to go about it

If any of these sound familiar, or come close to capturing your experience, please get in touch.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation. No refund will be given for non-attended appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, as I incur the same costs as if the appointment had taken place and I am unable to offer the slot to another client at that late stage.

I will endeavour to give you as much advance notice as possible of any need to cancel or reschedule a future appointment, for instance due to illness. Any appointments that need to be rescheduled by the psychologist do not incur a cost to the client – the appointment fee can be refunded or applied to the next appointment.

Payment

Please note that payment is due at the time of booking in order to confirm your appointment. You will receive a text and/or email with details of ways to pay, including Revolut transfer or using a debit or credit card.

A reminder will be sent 72 hours prior to your appointment time if no payment has been received. If no payment has been received, I will not be able to attend the appointment.
